OLD PHOTOS OF THE DAY

These shots are of an old friend Trevor Kupetz from NH. I took them in Nashoba Valleys pipe at the time..1992? He was on a Burton Asym Air that was hacked down on the tip and tail and ridden backwards too. He wasn't the sort of guy that gave a shit..like I said he was from NH. Just about anyone who rides and skates from the great Granite State is, or at least was a step ahead of many other kids. I think the "Live Free Or Die" thing really makes people think and act differently. Trevor ripped..hard. Smooth as he was sketchy. Most of the guys I knew from there were the same..Nick Francke, Adam and Jeff Moran, Dan Brothers, Mike Baker, Matt Gormley..the list goes on. Their all rulers. I don't know where Trevor is today ..last I knew he groomed at the original, historic Waterville Valley Boneyard and I haven't heard anything since.

There are a handful of old skate videos that everyone should see at least once. This section of Frankie Hill could still hold it down today and it's 20yrs old. BAN THIS might need more than a few peeps though. Find other clips from this video on YouTube too.

KING OF THE WORM / WORCESTER EB

Get a team together and grab a camera. It's time to crown the new king.

1. What is King of the Worm? (KOTW) It's a scavenger hunt type contest
in which you use your skate skills and city knowledge to earn points
for your team. The team with the most point's (and video proof) at the
end of the week wins. It's just like Thrasher's King of the Road
except it's in Worcester and you can actually do it.
2. How much does it cost to sign up? It's free you fool
3. What do I need for KOTW? Balls of steel, a video camera, and a few
friends to form a team. Winners will be picked on completed
challenges. Not editing skills. You don't have to make a totally sick
video. You just have to get as many challenges on film as you can.
However, the footage will need to be on Disc and in .movie or AVI
format.
4. How many people can be on a team? At least 2 no more than 5 ( A
6th teammate is allowed for filming only
5. When does KOTW start? Challenges will be handed out at EB Worcester
on Saturday Aug 1st @ 2:00pm. You must show up to get your top secret
package. Your video entries must be in by Monday Aug 10th @ 6:00 pm
6. How do I sign up for KOTW? It's simple you come down to EB
Worcester on Saturday Aug 1st @ 2:00pm and say "sign me up"
7. The winners will be crowned on a later date ( to be announced ) at
EB Worcester with a viewing of highlights from the whole week.

These are some shots of our good friend Jonathan Hobbs from a while back. I'm not sure who shot them except for the black and white that I believe Joel Muzzey took back at Maximus. He was just a little kid when Tabor and the older EB heads corrupted him. Jons an awesome and refreshingly positive guy.
