GRANITE SKATEPARK NASHUA NH

Ian and a few guys went up to check out Granite ...here's what they thought

Granite skate skatepark review

As a good amount of you may know Nashua NH now has a 20,000+ square foot indoor skatepark called Granite Skate. All of the guys around the shop have been awaiting it's opening to see just what this facility has to offer to the skate/bike community. I have to say after visiting for the first time a few days ago I was very impressed.

Upon walking in the skate park I was greeted with a polite atmosphere, a very clean welcoming space, and a comfortable arm chair area complete with a coffee table and HD tv. As well as a few tables with chairs around them in front of a window that has a view overlooking the park. The main lobby is a great place to relax between kick-flips, or for people to hangout while they let the young-ins have some shred friendly fun.

The session only sets you back 12 dollars, and once you see the park you will not be disappointed in the cost. The main feature of the park is it's downward street inspired section that has anything a street skater would want including flat ledges, down ledges, flat bars, step ups, a manual pad, even an oversized 6 stair with a good sized handrail and a nice hubba ledge. That's not all Granite Skate has in to offer. It also has wide quarter pipes making those mile long 5.0's possible. The park has a great mini ramp, and oversized hip/jump box with across and down ledges that are fun for any skater or biker. There is a lot of flat ground also that has many different obstacles that you can even move around! That's right, you can make your own setup. The only thing that Granite Skate is missing out on is a bowl, or big ramp of some sort. However with rumors of expansion, I don't think it's too long before they put something in and complete the total skatepark package.

I was excited to see how this new park in Nashua would turn out. With having experienced disappointing skatepark sessions at places with cookie cutter fun-boxes, I will say that's not what you get when you walk into this new facility. It was a treat to be there and a breath of fresh air to realize that there is now a indoor park that you don't have to love to hate.

Granite Skate also does birthday parties with a function room available, and is located on 22 Charron ave in Nashua NH. They have a helmet and elbow pad policy, and are a great place to go get your shred on. Thank you everyone for reading, and don't forget to visit this new hotspot.
