MOPED COUNTRY
With the country complaining about the rising cost of gas and travel, I figured I'd post this trip that a few guys in the extended EB family took last year. Nick, Kevin, and Toms moped trek to raise money towards the fight against cancer would be the ideal middle finger trip to the fuel costs for anyone looking to do something like it. Check their site for pics and video clips http://www.mopedcountry.com
The Basics: Moped Country
When: July 5th, 2007 (7:45 pm) – September 5th, 2007 (8:30 pm)
Where: San Francisco, CA –> 4,400 miles zigzagged across the U.S.A. –> Burlington, VT
Who: Nick Girard and Kevin Corkrum on mopeds, while Tom Sands documented the journey in our Scion Support Vehicle.
What: 2008 Tomos Sprint Mopeds and a 2008 Scion XB Support Vehicle
Why: Why not!? Cause we are insane? For the fame? For the cash money? Not really, it was for the experience and to raise money for the fight against cancer.
