The wavey edges on the Magne decks from Mervin Mfg. offered on many of the Lib Tech, Gnu and Roxy boards simply offer you incredible edge hold on bad snow conditions typically found here in New England especially. More points of contact translate into keeping you on your feet instead of sliding out onto your face. It's not anything new, but it's taken a few years for the snowboard community to embrace it. When riders like Travis Rice ride Magne it should tell you something. It works..... and works really really well.
