CAPITAS DEFENDERS OF AWESOME FISHERMEN

Johan, Andrew and Capita took a few guys fishing the other day off of Block Island. It didn't take long for us to hit our limit of Stripers since the decent ones were hammering whatever was out there for them to hit, and the Blues were on it too. It was good to hang with the guys from the Garden, Civil and Cutting Edge and fill up on fresh fish tacos before heading home. Oh yeah.. we watched the new Capita flick too....you're going to want it.

Matt Jag sent us this shot ...hope nobody is in a rush to get a sandwich at Biedermans. Good luck to all that have had their lives turned upside down in the recent storm up and down the East coast and inland. When things start drying out ( or sooner ) help support your local businesses to get everybody back on their feet. 2012 SNOWBOARDS AND THEN SOME...

Here we go again. It seems everyone gets the bug around the middle of August and starts looking at new gear and talking snowboards. Deal hunters know to buy now and that our Annual Tent Sale is here in Leominster every Labor Day weekend. ( Sept 2 - 5th ) Boards are already checking out at 40% off and leftovers are tighter this year than most so come early and grab it. Everything pictured in the slideshow here is new for 2012 and more is on the way.

EB GG ALLIN T

"Kevin Michael "GG" Allin (born Jesus Christ Allin, August 29, 1956 – June 28, 1993) was an American punk rock singer-songwriter, who performed and recorded with many groups during his career. GG Allin is perhaps best remembered for his notorious live performances, which often featured transgressive acts, including coprophagia, self-mutilation, and attacking audience members. All Music has called him "the most spectacular degenerate in rock & roll history.
Although more notorious for his stage antics than for his music, he recorded prolifically, not only in the punk rock genre, but also in spoken word, country, and more traditional-style rock. His extremely politically incorrect lyrics, which often covered subjects such as misogyny, pedophilia and racism, polarized listeners and created varied opinions of him within the highly politicized punk community. When questioned about his music and concerts, Allin often replied that he was trying to make rock music "dangerous" again.
Allin's music was often poorly recorded/produced, given limited distribution, and was met with mostly negative reviews from critics. Despite these factors, Allin maintained a cult following throughout his career, and a fanbase that has greatly expanded since his death. Though Allin promised for several years before his death that he would commit suicide onstage during one of his concerts, he died June 28, 1993 of an accidental heroin overdose.".... continue here..
