BAND DAY / FOUR YEAR STRONG
We got an email from Josh about the Four Year Strong tour the other day. They toured the UK, Japan and are now in Australia selling venues out with upwards of 800 people. Evidently there are amazing women all over the world too. Kid in a candy store. He'll be home soon and says hello to all here. ( nice EB v neck Josh )
UNEARTH
Derek Kerswill has been lurking in these parts for many moons. He's one of the most soft spoken, regular guys you'll ever meet in person while he's getting his Starbucks on and passing through the shop when not on tour. On a stage and behind his drums however he's a different animal. Lately Derek has been working with his band Seemless and also landed on tour with the long time HEAVY metal band UNEARTH. Catch them live if you get a chance.

CHEAP THRILLS
( pictures below ) It's not quite done yet, but for just over a hundred bucks we built this box set up that has a few different uses. A little angle iron and masonite and it'll be ready to rip. Build your own mini park for the summer to dork around on. It'll be worth the money.

BMX
We're stocked up on new 2 Hip, Fit, Eastern, Hoffman, DK, and Stolen complete bikes right now. Get them soon if you're interested because bike companies tend to sell out of available complete bikes during the Summer. We just received the new Verde bikes. The VEX, Method and Theory should be built up soon to check out. verdebmx.com. Orchid shoes are back at the Leominster store too. We got the Vandever Casual, Cobra and Porters today.
DECKS
A load of Toy Machine, Foundation decks and t-s landed the other day including the "fiberlams" from both. More Girl, Chocolate too.

Tim Brauch
Most of you guys who frequent this blog would list skaters like P-Rod, Koston or Marc Johnson as your favorite skaters.. Being a bit older, growing up one of my favorite guys was by far Tim Brauch. I remember getting to see him at an NHS demo that passed through when I was maybe in 7th-8th grade and that dude straight up ripped.. Those days it was him, Cardiel, and Salamon Agah that got me and my friends stoked... Unfortunately Tim passed away at a very young age from a heart complication. There is a Documentary in the works about Tim's life, I found a rough edit on-line and wanted to share it here..

BURN RUBBER
What an event filled day today! Jessy took the longest skid contest tonight with an incredible 24 footer. Now you may think 24' isn't some sort of record, but this bike is hella small, has wiggly wheels, bent pedals, a loose stem, and slipping bars all adding to the possibility of sending your teeth through space in one quick shot over the bars. Let the games begin.
SKATEBORG.COM
Local scene got you in a slump? Well our local shred Jon Hardy and a couple other computer savvy friends of his have started up a new site you may want to take a look at. SKATEBORG.com is "an online community for skaters, by skaters". The site was just launched recently and has already had a bunch of guys make up their profile and join in. It's getting tweaked with updates and improvements as it matures but seems to have the potential to be quite a plethora of information about a whole lot of communities of skaters and places to check out. Just have a look for yourselves and see what you think.
NEW SPOT
We built a ghost ride launch pad outside today. Needless to say the action was limited after the plastic trash can gave in under 225 pounds of old. Pedal bite to the back of the leg and winded after a few cranks around the parking lot and the fun was over. Thanks to whoever left the bike behind the dumpster.
