11TH ANNUAL LAST CALL PRIZES
Besides $5,000 in CASH we will be handing out all of this too.
Breakdown:
More than just the top riders will go home with custom Oakley glasses. The women's glass is the Fringe ($110) and the men's glass will be the Plaintiff ($150). The Plaintiff will have "Last Call 2011" etched in the lens, and both will come with the custom "Big Mike" bags.
Mens 1st $1,500 plus prizes / 2nd $1,000 plus prizes / 3rd $500 plus prizes / ...and a bag of prizes for "you almost made top three"
Womens 1st $800 plus prizes /2nd $400 plus prizes /3rd $200 plus prizes / ...and a bag for "you almost made top three"
Like previous years there will be three features in the event. One standout rider will get a $200 bonus for being the supreme destroyer of that particular feature. Features this time will be jib heavy for sure but you better be comfy in the air too because we're going to mix it all in together.
Had a bad day? Don't sweat it. We always have a prize bag for the worst bail. Maybe that can be your go to trick.
We'll have another random prize bag for someone who does something worthy or sketchy...we'll figure out what that is during the day.
Oh and did we mention that during the lunch break K2 is holding a high ollie contest? There are K2 Bambooya skate decks for three riders with the biggest springs in their boots.
Could we possibly squeeze more into one glorious day of shredding? Well....actually no. That is until we all creep down to the bar in the Bunyan room at the bottom of the dude tube and raffle off a 2012 K2 Happy Hour snowboard AND three more Bambooya skate decks with other stuff taped to them! ( Word is there might be a little room in the budget for a few "after event
sodas" courtesy of the good people at K2 )
Take note please: Loon Mountain is SUPER FUN but we need to remember to be responsible even at Last Call. Keep the party in the bars and respect the mountains employees and other people visiting the area not partaking in "our fun." Please find a DD or use area shuttles. Hopefully you get room in the Woodstock or Lincoln area that evening and meet us out after dinner. Typically we land at the Station or Truants bar in downtown Woodstock. ( Mark Wakeling will entertain you with his amazing Karaoke voice and high kicks )
Thanks to our 2011 sponsors K2, Oakley, 32, Siege, Scion, Redbull and of course Loon Mountain.
